Option 1 - Weekly


Having a weekly stall is a great way to build your business, and with two thirds of our stallholders having been with us weekly for five years or more, we know it works. Shoppers will always know where to find you and best of all you can get repeat customers. Other benefits include:
 

  • A permanent stall location so you can set up hooks for signage and lighting etc.

  • We will actively promote your products or service giving you much greater exposure.

  • Guaranteed a stall at all our Specialty Markets (detailed below)

  • Free parking on site when available

  • 20% discount off casual prices and you can pay up front, monthly or weekly by AP, including
    through the double weekends. Price per market for weekly stalls with discount applied:

    • $40 - food stall (2.2m wide)

    • $73.60 - medium (size is 2.2m wide various depths from 2m to 4m).

    • $124.80 - large (size of two mediums or a corner site with more frontage).

    • These prices do not change during our larger double weekend markets when casual prices
      can increase.

  • To be eligible please apply, be accepted, then book in for 3 months minimum.

 

Trial offer - Weekly Stalls and Food Stalls

An affordable way to build your business and enjoy the benefits of return customers. Experience first hand why the majority of our stallholders come weekly, and have done so for many years. 

  • $300 for 8 consecutive markets for all general market stalls.

  • $150 for 8 consecutive markets for all food stalls.

  • Paid upfront, new weekly stalls only, casual stallholder conditions apply.

  • Only when space is available.

  • Your stall location may vary during the eight weeks.

Option 2 - Have a Go Stalls


Enjoy the benefits of repeat customers once per month. On the first Saturday of the month (excluding January, October and December) we have our Have a Go market where we open up the venue for many more stalls to join us and “have a go!” with reduced price stalls.

Come every month or pick and choose to suit.

Enjoy the options of coming when you want! Casual stalls keep the market fresh, plus you have the flexibility to choose the markets that suit your business, lifestyle and budget.

    • $156 -  large (size of two mediums or a corner site with more frontage).

Specialty markets


Throughout the year we have specialty themed markets and double weekend markets. Different prices and conditions apply. Any registered stallholder can book to come to any of our specialty markets, however our double weekend markets have an application process. Stalls will be located in the “theme market area” and the stall location is at our discretion. APPLY NOW

  • Something for Mum market + More than Socks market

    • The Saturday before Mother’s Day (11th May, 2019) and the day before Father’s Day
      (31st Aug, 2019)

    • We have extra advertising and promotions around these markets.

    • Stall prices:

      • $50 medium (2.2m wide  - depths vary from 2m to 4m)

      • $100 large (various sizes - equivalent of 2 x medium stalls or a corner stall with more
        frontage)

  • Wonders of Wool
    Stalls selling yarns, wool craft supplies and garments – a one-stop-shop for all winter craft
    projects and clothing. Over 70 stalls filled with the loveliest offerings of the woolly kind by local
    craftspeople, as well as our weekly stalls. 

    • Saturday 8th June 2019, 10am - 4pm

    • We have extra advertising and promotions around this market

    • Stall prices:

      • $50 medium (2.2m wide  - depths vary from 2m to 4m)

      • $100 large (various sizes - equivalent of 2 x medium stalls or a corner stall with more
        frontage)

  • Larger double weekend markets

    • Our biggest markets of the year are the Underground Market Showcase Weekends held Saturdays
      and Sundays during the Sept/Oct school holidays when WOW fever hits the capital, as well as
      The Wellington Christmas Markets held over the 4 weekends in December.

    • Foot counts have counted up to 10,000 people per day during these markets.

    • Due to the popularity, there's an application process for non-weekly stallholders. We advertise
      this in our newsletter and private stallholder FB page when applications are open.

    • Priority is  given to:

      • Stalls that book for all three weekends (however we also usually have a few spots for stalls
        that just want to come one or two weekends.)

    • You must attend both the Saturday and Sunday you are booked in for (you can keep your stall
      set up overnight).

    • Prices per day are:

      • $92 - medium (2.2m wide  - depths vary from 2m to 4m)

      • $184 - large (various sizes - equivalent of 2 x medium stalls or a corner stall with more
        frontage)

      • 20% deposit required within 2 weeks of booking, remainder due by date on invoice.

Service stalls
 

  • 'Service stalls' are those that offer a service or entertain crowds - such as henna tattoos, massage,
    beauty treatments, portrait drawing, caricatures etc. Generally they do not sell products, only a service.

  • Service Stalls are free when space is available if you commit to coming weekly.

    • Service stalls are charged $50 per market during our double weekend markets.
